Ocean Water Sort

Purpose

A puzzle for when you want to switch your head over and concentrate on matching colors, even for a short while.

Requirements

• It is free to play at present. No registration and no install are needed.
• It plays in computer and smartphone browsers.

How to play

• Tap (or click) a tube to select it, then tap the tube you want to pour into, and the seawater moves across.
• You can only pour where there is seawater of the same color. Think the combinations through.
• Once every tube holds a single color, that level is cleared.
• The undo button (ひとつ戻す) takes back your last move, and the restart button (最初から) lets you replay that level.

Features

• It has levels, and the further you go the more colors are used (up to 8)
• The layouts are generated so that every level can definitely be solved, so there is no worry about getting stuck
• The undo and restart buttons let you take things back without hesitation
• Your progress is saved automatically in the browser, so you can pick up where you left off
• No install and no sign-up — it plays straight away

How your data is handled

As your progress, only the level you have reached is saved to browser storage. There is no mechanism that sends your game progress data anywhere. What is browser storage?

Honest caveats

If you delete your browser's site data, the level you reached is deleted too.

• The game has no feature for deleting your progress completely, and no backup feature.
• Because the data is saved only inside the browser, your progress is not carried over automatically when you play on another device or in another browser.
• The restart button replays the current level; it is not an operation that erases the progress you have saved.
